Why Events Like This Are Important

The Year 6 Careers Fair plays a vital role in preparing pupils for the next stage of their educational journey. By meeting a diverse range of professionals, children gain a deeper understanding of the world beyond school and begin to recognise the many pathways open to them. It helps them connect classroom learning with real-life opportunities, boosts their confidence when speaking to new people, and encourages them to imagine ambitious futures. Most importantly, it inspires pupils to believe that with hard work, determination, and curiosity, they can achieve anything they set their minds to.
